Reply:Cheapskates are all around us. If your guy gave you cheap valentine gifts, then I am sorry to say that you may be with the wrong guy. An appropriate gift for someone who has a committed relationship would be a lovely piece of jewelry, flowers and a card. For someone just starting to date, if the guy is interested he will send roses, and take you out to dinner. So, when a guy goes on the cheap for Valentine's Day, it is an indication of things to come. One thing you don't want to do is marry a cheapskate...it will be a life of misery.
Reply:What else are you expecting? I personally have never complained about anything I've received on Valentine's Day. It's really selfish when you ask or expect your valentine to go all-out on this one day a year. Why not just be happy he remembered? Obviously he must love you if he got you anything at all.
