I'm looking for suggestions for a Flower Girl gift. She will be 6 at the time of the wedding.
Flower Girl gift ideas?
Get her a little jewelry box that plays music when opened with a spinning balarina that pops up. In it put her first "good" jewelry (short strand of freshwater pearls, or a gold chain with a cross) that she can wear to the wedding. Then get her something fun as well, like make a package that has a coloring book, crayons, stickers, etc so she wont be bored at the reception and also maybe get her a board game or a puzzle for her for home.
Reply:Mine was 5 at the time and loved princesses. I got her a tiara to wear the day of the wedding so she would be like a princess, I got her a flower girl bear and a silver necklace with a basket of flowers pendant. After I gave her the gift, she turned to her mother and asked how I knew to get her just what she wanted. It was precious and the tiara was especially a big hit! Good luck!

Reply:I think the jewelery box idea is a great one.
Or a pretty necklace that she can wear and keep.
Reply:I like the wedding barbie gift idea as someone else also suggested. They actually have a groom too at Kohls.com. Something she can really get some use out of and have some fun during all the boring moments of the wedding/reception for kids.
Reply:what about the barbie wedding set

Reply:I got a little heart shaped box engraved with her name and the word flower-girl with the date, then because she loves hair items i got two very pretty and shiny clips that she has worn so often so she would have something for now,
we also gave her a small bag before the wedding with two toy ponies, some little lollies and a etch-sketch thing which she loved and kept her occupied during the photos when she wasn't needed and at the reception we then gave her a colouring book and pencils (which we did for all the kids under 10, there were 3) and she was free to colour in a not be under foot
Reply:Something special you could give her after the wedding is a personalized photo gift so you could check out the website - http://www.ExpressionPrints.com - it allows you to upload a photo of your own or use one from their gallery. Then you can add text such as a personal message or love poem on top of the image and it even allows you to apply effects to the photo. At the wedding, just make sure you take a photo of the two of you together and then you can upload the photo and add a personal message on top of the image telling her how much you appreciated her being a part of your wedding.
Reply:a precious moment doll, you can even custom make a dress to look like hers
Reply:There is an adorable wedding Barbie set. I'm getting married in October and that's what I plan on getting for my flower girl.
Reply:I'm probably going to end up getting two gifts for mine but i found a jeweller who will make a stirling silver necklace with her name in script so that everyone knows her name on the day - really pretty.
It's costing me about $20 to get made. Maybe someone near you does a similar thing.
As a bonus the necklace is nece enough that she can wear it when she is older. She will be 6 years old at the wedding too.
Also i think seeing that the bridesmaids are also getting necklaces as a gift she can feel like one of the big girls!
