Gifts for Parents of the Bride?

I am getting married in June and wanted to give my parents a little some "wedding" related for Christmas. Any suggestions? (I'd prefer to NOT give pictures, frames, flowers etc.. I am looking for maybe something personalized or wedding themed"

Gifts for Parents of the Bride?
If you are the one getting married, why would you buy your parents a wedding themed gift for Christmas? It is appropriate to give out wedding themed gifts to parents %26amp; member of the wedding party at the rehersal dinner. Then it is expected. But to give a wedding theme gift for the holidays seems a little self involved.

I don't mean to be rude ~ I am sure your parents are happy for you ~ but it is *your* wedding, after all, not theirs. Get them a Christmas gift that takes into consideration *their* considerations, likes, etc. ...not yours.
Reply:i think something personalized could be an oil painted picture for both of them with both of you and your fiance you can find good ideas on http://paintyourlife.com/

Merry xmas
Reply:I know you said you would like to avoid frames, but have you considered buying them a digital photo frame? It would not be directly related to the wedding, but I am sure they will have plenty of pictures they will want to display after your big day. They can of course use it to display any pictures from any event.

Traditionally you would give your parents a gift at the rehearsal dinner the night before the wedding, but I think dragging the wedding-themed gifts clear to Christmas may be a little too much.

You could always give them gift-cards at the stores where you suspect they will buy their wedding attire, or you could buy your mom a necklace and earrings to go with her dress if she has already picked it out.
