Reply:you should never ever judge on a gift judge on how you love each other. Report It

Reply:Cause your a high mantenance girl
Reply:You date cheep people.

So, when is the last time that you spent a lot of money on a guy? People tend to attract their own kind.
Reply:I am amazed you got that. What did you give to him, besides a migraine?
Reply:Cheap is your mind not the gift. Gift is always precious no matter what it is.
Reply:yes wat the frst dude said
Reply:Our men know we don't need big expensive gifts to feel loved and appreciated! We know we are special with or without em right?

Hmmmm... well that's my story and I'm stickin to it!
Reply:Hey i looked at your 360 - could you e mail me a naked picture of you - thanks
Reply:Because..if a guy already has U..why waste...2 much money on U.......2nd..if a guy feels U may reject Him..then he hasnt wasted too much money, thought and time on the Gift 4U..
Reply:With a body like that, I'd buy you the finest ropes, cuffs and other restraints along with the sexiest outfits for you to wear when you tie me up!!!!!!
Reply:Ugh, I know! Guys think it's romantic.
Reply:Guys don't like being told what to do. Valentine's Day is the world (Halmark and other advertisers) telling them what to do. If he treats you well don't sweat cheap V day gifts.
Reply:Because maybe we haven't earned the "not so cheap" gifts.

Or, our guys just don't have the money for it. Sometimes its the thought that counts, not the $$$ spent on it.
Reply:Cheapskates are all around us. If your guy gave you cheap valentine gifts, then I am sorry to say that you may be with the wrong guy. An appropriate gift for someone who has a committed relationship would be a lovely piece of jewelry, flowers and a card. For someone just starting to date, if the guy is interested he will send roses, and take you out to dinner. So, when a guy goes on the cheap for Valentine's Day, it is an indication of things to come. One thing you don't want to do is marry a cheapskate...it will be a life of misery.
Reply:What else are you expecting? I personally have never complained about anything I've received on Valentine's Day. It's really selfish when you ask or expect your valentine to go all-out on this one day a year. Why not just be happy he remembered? Obviously he must love you if he got you anything at all. There are so many other things money could be spent on...

PLEASE ANSWER!!When giving gifts to a Girl as an apology, should you space them out, or give them all at once?

Read my previous questions for the story. I bought her flowers along with a card i wrote. I also bought like 5 items of jewelry and a couple shirts. Should i give her this all at once, or space it out through the week?

PLEASE ANSWER!!When giving gifts to a Girl as an apology, should you space them out, or give them all at once?
space them out ...to space her out!

Good luck.
Reply:DUDE!!!!!!!!! Just apologise!!!!!!!!!!! Tell her you are sorry, and then, tell her you bought these things while you were thinking about how much you need her. GOOD LUCK.

If she does'nt accept, than o-well!
Reply:I'm sorry, but she sounds like a hoe to me. I mean, why is she running around in a thong in front of another guy and what did she expect from you after such an incident. How did you find out it was all false, she told you, or lied to you? I'm sorry, but you did nothing wrong here, it was all just a misunderstanding if it was all in fact false and she should be willing to explain herself and not take offense seeing as she slept with another guy (romantically or not.) Come on man, man up a little bit and don't let people walk all over you like this.
Reply:There's a difference between an apology gift and guilt presents ~ you are very close to crossing the line!
Reply:Never give gifts to apologise. Don't do anything wrong in the first place that you need to apologise for. but one gesture of an apology is sufficient. if your giving more your desperate and sad.
Reply:space it out over the course of a week or two, otherwise it just makes you seem needy, and a little bit creepy
Reply:def space them out.... that way she'll slowly start to forgive you... it shows you're committed etc.
Reply:you should definantely space them out

maybe give her a different gift each day

or (whatever way u want)

and just tell her that you seen these items and thought about her

:)
Reply:omg, do u want to kill her. seriously one thing is enough. if u gave me all those things id be like piss of
Reply:Better give them all at once.that will really show her how sorry you are.She will be really touched by your thoughtfulness. You are a great man!
Reply:give one to her every day seems more romantic and oh ya she wont beg for more jk
Reply:space them out to feel out her feelings .besides its more fun and she may keep you longer by waiting for the next present and end off liking you !!@!!! don't keep her waiting to long because she''ll 'then known you didn't mean it.
Reply:Go ahead and cut your balls off, it's too late for you.
Reply:Depends on what you did wrong. But as a general rule, space them out. Surprise her by putting one in her purse when she's not looking, and she'll find it when she gets home, or leave a gift on her pillow for her to find when you go, that kind of thing. It'll show her you're thinking of her all the time, not just in one rush of emotion. Does this help?
Reply:Space it,if you give them all at once she will thinking your really sucking up and most girls hate when you do something bad and try to make up for it,you should give each one every couple of days, and if she asks what it was for, just reply, just because i was thinking about you and i wanted to show how much i truly care and love you.and thats when you give her a little kiss on her forehead. You cant go wrong with this.
Reply:Silly boy... you cant buy her back.... you need to prove youre sorry. later when she forgives you, thats when you buy the gifts to say thank you..
Reply:u must give it all in 1day but at intervals..if u keep poppin ur head into her door everyday and give her sumthin,im sure shell get bugged up..
Reply:Take them back. An explanation and a sincere apology face to face not in just text should be enough. If the only thing she cares about is "stuff" you don't want this kind of person. It's just you she should want.
Reply:She may find it a tad creepy if you give her gifts - but if you really are in love with her, I think you should give them to her spaced out. Keep in mind that she may reject them.
Reply:must be a pretty big apology your making! just give her a couple of gifts first.. like the card and flowers, and save the other gifts for her b'day or other special occasions.. otherwise i think she'd be overwhelmed recieving them all at once.
Reply:give them at once
Reply:be very careful how many and how often you give them. dont look like a wuss by doing so, as much as women on here will tell you otherwise, women in general dont like it when theyre showered with gifts because it shows that the man isnt confident enough in himself that he is the gift himself
Reply:Give her the flower, card and jwellery first. Check her mood the next day and depending on that decide on shirts.

Do singles actually reject gifts on Valentines Day?

Of course anything is possible. My friend was wondering this.

And I'm talking about singles not couples. So if a girl gave a guy flowers, are there guys who actually say "thanks, but i don't really like you".

Do singles actually reject gifts on Valentines Day?
Sure, i would occasionally decline an invitation from a girl to accept a gift. After-all, it is better to be up-front, and precise, then sneak around the bushes. It is like they always say, the longer you procrastinate, the deeper the wound. Aside from that, Valentine is too, shall i say, "commercialized"?

WHICH ONE OF THESE GIFTS IS THE SWEETEST TO RECIEVE FROM a LOVER?

-An expired coupon for groceries.

-Courtney Love's USED brasier.

-A bottle of lotion and some razors

-A bouquet of flowers with ANOTHER womans name on it.

WHICH ONE OF THESE GIFTS IS THE SWEETEST TO RECIEVE FROM a LOVER?
some bipolar cream please =P

lol
Reply:An expired coupon for groceries is just tight.

Courtney Love's used brasier is disgusting.

A bottle of lotion and some razors is being cheeky and he's obviously asking for a slap.

AND

A bouquet of flowers with another womans name on it is a sign of infidelity.

So really Vinnie, which do you think is the sweetest gift?
Reply:i suggest you go with none. give her a teddy bear instead with a cute note attached and a box of chocolate-- not that expensive.

if my bf ever gave me one of those i would get so offended id rather not get any present at all. i'd prob just dump him. besides if u give her flowers with another girls name on it she might think ur cheating on her and meant to give the flowers to your other girlfreind
Reply:Are you kidding me? Who in their right mind would want any of those things? Well I am sure there are some people who wouldn't mind getting any of those things.

I am NOT one of them. I just want his attention 100 percent and that is it.
Reply:My girlfriend's lover could give me the flowers with her name on it if she was out of town,,,maybe..

or the neighbours lover could give me a bottle of lotion and some razors

but my lover hadn't better try to pass any of those off on me!
Reply:Given the choices I have, I reckon I'm only with my lover for sex not romance!

A bouquet of flowers with ANOTHER woman's name on it?! Yeah, definitely in in for the sex.
Reply:a bottle of lotion and some razors .

i would go shave then lotion then get dressed in a hot outfit and find myself a new man and tell my old one thank you for the motivation to move on . :)
Reply:i would be absolutely pissed to get any of these. especially if its a special ocassion. but if i had to choose it would be the razors and lotion. i hope thats not what you were planning to get me.. lol.
Reply:a bottle of lotion and some razors. they could be some really expensive good razors she's wanted for a long time and like idk juicy couture lotion :]
Reply:The used bra of Courtney Love.

She could use it as pretend headphones when we romantically re-enact the scene out of Wierd Science when they create 'Lisa'.

He don't have no LICENCE, lisa!

Then we sh@g! ;o)
Reply:none of them, but i think the lotion and razor would be the closest to being remotely sweet.

now i dont have to buy them :)
Reply:I guess it depends on the lover. The sweetest present would be the most thoughtful or creative.
Reply:haha an expired coupon for the groceries, because at least it shows you tried a little bit hehe
Reply:flowers
Reply:bottle of loition and razors
Reply:I am surprised you missed out a chewed up toffee in a wrapper,at least that would have been SWEET!!
Reply:The lotion and razors..I can find good use for them ;)
Reply:my hubby is my lover and that was a silver necklace with a crystal elephant
Reply:a bottle of lotion and some razors.... its the only one that seems like a real gift
Reply:id go with the razors, so i could cut his **** off for bein so mysoginistic!
Reply:an expired coupon for groceries! it's the thought that counts. lmao
Reply:Wow, lol none of those are necessary sweet..

A bottle of lotion and some razors. I guess.

Hahah.

:}
Reply:A bottle of lotion and some razors
Reply:If my bf got me any of those i would dump him on the spot
Reply:What the hell are you talking about? Those all suck.
Reply:those are all dumb.. at least take the other girls name off the flowers.
Reply:Um... none are sweet.

And what's a brasier?
Reply:wow! if my lover gave me any of these that would be the last time he ever got any my sweets!
Reply:I wouldn't accept any of those "gifts."
Reply:WITH A KISS FROM HIS LIPS IM GOOD TO GO LOL
Reply:I WOULD HAVE TO SAY, NONE.

Extraordinary cheap mother day gifts that arent same old, same old?

i don't want to give the same things- you know- cards, flowers, chocolate, jewelry- i want something really really great that a teenager can afford.

1) what stores are good?

3) what should i do for her (breakfast, day stuff, etc.)

thanks sooooooooooo much!! =]] websites appreciated!

Extraordinary cheap mother day gifts that arent same old, same old?
A few years ago my son made me a slideshow of family pictures and put music behind it and burnt it down on a disc for me. I cried my EYES out. Totally blessed my heart. Pictures of me and him as he was growing up that he already had and he used songs in the background that I used to sing to him when he was small. Cost him nothing but the blank cd and his time - but it means the world to me. He made me a card and gave me a bouquet of flowers and cooked me dinner. Ahhhhhhhhhh. In the end it's the thought and the love behind it that counts.

What do men like gifts?

What kind of things do men like while dating? Do they like to receive flowers, and cards? Or, do they prefer other things? And, I'm not talking about sex. Men and women please answer. I would really appreciate everyones answers.

Any ideas on Christmas gifts for a girlfriend?

I've been dating my girlfriend for almost 10 months and I have no clue what to get her. I just got her a day at a spa for her b-day which was ealier this month. She doesn't like a lot of girly things (ie: jewlery, make-up, perfume). I don't want to spend a ton of money because I don't have the greatest job currently. Oh yeah I've already done poems, and stuff randomly through out the relationship so I need something clever. She just got a bunch of flowers for graduation last week, so that's out. Any ideas?

Any ideas on Christmas gifts for a girlfriend?
My idea wold be a to spent the whole Christmas with her on the park or the amusement park.
Reply:My idea would be just to take her out for dinner.

If that is too much, then get her a pet, most likely a puppy or a kitty.

Well, that is all of my ideas. I'm sorry I couldn't help you a lot.

Hope everything works out!
Reply:Well.....thats kinda a tough one! You could get her a giant teddy bear. Uhm you could buy the first movie ya'll ever watched together on DVD if she currently does NOT own it. chocolate treats or cookies are always YUM! lol if you really dont wanna spend much you can always wrap urself up in a box!! well i know you said she doesn't like jewelry but sometimes a beautiful ring or something is nice. i'm sure you could find a pretty cheap one that is still gorgeous but if you do get a ring make SURE, make DARN sure, that it will NOT turn her finger green!! that could possibly be one of the most embarrassing things when she takes off the ring one day to reveal a giant green finger throbbing at her and utterly repulsive! haha if she is kinda sporty and has a favorite football or baseball or basketball or some sort of sport team then you could get her a hat or tshirt with that on it! her favorite band tshirt! uuhhh bath n body works always has really nice stuff....a gift card to her favorite place or store or even restaurant...this is random but fuzzy slippers are nice haha....awww or you could go all high school on her and get a necklace with ur initial on it!!! or if she wants it to be more personalized for HER instead then get her initial on it. tickets to a concert...tickets to a sports thing...a weekend getaway...a GIANT hershey's kiss...candles...idk a portable DVD playr- u can actually get some of them kinda cheap now but i don't know how cheap ur talking bout so i'm just giving you all sorts of ideas....make or have someone else make a personalized scrapbook with a ton of pictures of you two in there. a mixed CD with some of her own personal favorites....iTunes card if she has an iPod...a fun jacket...hat....scarf...clothes or something of the sort that you know she just might like. ok wellll i can't think of much more! sorry lol but Hope i helped! =)
Reply:take her out to a nice dinner and make her feel special. you could also get her jeans and shirts and stuff.
Reply:A DVD of the first movie you saw together.

A CD compilation of her favorite songs/artists

A pair of birthstone earrings
Reply:gift card to her favorite store

a beautiful poem

itunes gift card if she has an ipod

scrapbook of your memories together

some ideas from the superior girl mind ;)
Reply:Don't dismiss jewelry just because she's not a girly-girl. I never wear make-up or perfume, and barely any jewelry, and I'm really hoping my boyfriend is going that route...Girls love jewelry from their boyfriend. If you don't want to go all-out, you can still get something fairly nice in the $50-75 range (possibly even lower if you're an awesome shopper). Just try to save $30 or so from each paycheck, and shop around for good deals.

Six month dating gifts for a boyfriend?

my girlfriend and i just had our six month dating anniversery and i got her flowers and a neckless. she didnt get me anything and didnt even remeber what the day was, ive never missed a month.

i sorta feel used even though she is the most amazing girl ever and i know she feels the same about me.

should i be concerned?

why didnt she remember or get me a present?

is it customery for a girl to get a guy a present for a six month?

(im not being greedy just curious))

Six month dating gifts for a boyfriend?
There is no such thing as a 6 month anniversary. Anniversaries can only be annual hence YEARLY or once a year. You celebrate each and every month like it's Valentines Day????? I think SHE is the one to be concerned you need to tone it down several notches in the desperation category or you will run her out of your life quick. It's nice to occasionally buy something simple like flowers just to be nice but jewelry is for special occasions like Christmas your wedding anniversary. 6 Months is nothing in the big scheme of things. Wait until you have been with her 20 years and you will look back and laugh at your over enthusiasm that's IF she didn't run away 20 years before. plus think about all the money you will save buy not buying presents every month.
Reply:lots of people dont really mark that date on a calendar, dont feel bad or beat yourself up about it

Six month dating gifts for boyfriend?
an·ni·ver·sa·ry –noun

1. the yearly recurrence of the date of a past event.

yearly, not monthly...

so it's not a big deal she didn't miss your faux anniversary...

maybe she's holding out for your real anniversary?
Reply:six month gift... what?
Reply:Some couples celebrate 6months but some don't. If she doesn't remember the 1st year anniversary then she may not be completely into this relationship.
Reply:back off george. if she were that into you, she'd be remembering the anniversarys more than you.
Reply:If you have to buy gifts every month, you're going to go broke after a while. I wouldn't be too upset about it. You should save your money for BIG dates...like birthday, christmas, your year anniversary. if you are buying big things now after just six short months, you're going to be feeling like you have to out do yourself with bigger and better things everytime and soon run out of ideas and money. If you want to get her something sometimes ,you should do it out of the blue, "just because"...not out of a silly obligation to a "month anniversary". (and she shouldn't expect things every month either, I might add)
Reply:there are other ways to show you care than give gifts.

next month, if your still into giving, why not cook for her, or take a picnic, ask her about it.

Maybe she is looking ahead further than a month at a time, once you get past that hurdle, you will be able to stop dwelling on the gift aspect
Reply:your so sweet....lots of couples celebrate 6 months...maybe she forgot and maybe she feels like a jerk right now and doesn't want to say anything....how did she react to the gift that is more important...was she happy and suprised...then she forgot and was probably telling everyone she knows how you remembered...if she didn't seem impressed drop her *** because no matter how great of a girl she is getting a gift from your man no matter how big or small should be recieved graciously. next time you get a six month gift for a girl ask her first if she wants to do something special for 6 months, doing something together can be better than a gift....but you are a super star for remembering and caring about the 6 month anniversary.
Reply:Maybe she didn't know what to get you. Or maybe she's like me and only celebrates anniversaries annually, not semi-annually or monthly. (Because I'm anal retentive like that...and monthly anniversaries are linguistically impossible...)

It could also be that she's not big into gifts or maybe expresses her love/like better in non-gift ways.

Mother's Day Gifts?

I don't know what to get my mum for mothers day. I was thinking some wine, a me to you bear, chocolates and flowers is there anything else that would be good for mothers day?

Mother's Day Gifts?
That sounds lovely perhaps you could make a card mums love it when you do that! Or even better make a scrapbook with copies of photos and mementos of things you have done together x x x
Reply:Try ebay for some ideas
Reply:My Mum could always do with a pamper session, and my favourite shop in the whole wide world is Lush. They have beautiful unique organic products. Even good for people with sensitive skin.

I'll be getting my Mum a Bath bomb, a yummy fresh face pack (cupcake is lovely and chocolatey) and maybe some moisturiser.

Maybe chuck in some scented candles.
Reply:i think something homemade would be very much appreciated as it would be one of a kind and something personal from you and no present can ever beat that...not in a mothers eyes anyway.

some ideas:

card

photo album of piccies

little hamper of goodies made up by yourself...candles, incense sticks, oils, body creams etc.....

Happy Blue Petering ;o)
Reply:How about something personalised? As long as you stay away from gadgets and eBay you should be fine...tea for one sets are usually a popular gift

Reply:G. None of the above.

I'd be thrilled to get a gift card for Lowe's or Home Depot. Sometimes needs outweigh the wants. Non-essentials are more of a little-appreciated bane at that point. What do women think of valentine's day gifts?

Last year, I bought my wife a valentine's day ring and matching earrings. She worked at a big company with a lot of women in her department. NONE of them got jewelry from their husbands/boyfriends. Some got cards, less got flowers (my wife hates flowers; she says jewelry last forever).

What do you think those women said to their husbands/boyfriends that night when they came home? Many came to work the next day furious as they got NOTHING for valentines day. Even a card.

What do women think of valentine's day gifts?
Jewelry is the best gift a woman can get :)

(in my opinion)
Reply:to me gifts aint that much important but rather the recognition thats its valentines day ... and ud suppose to be all mushy..
Reply:Women love gifts!

But if you are used to have a nice dinner on Valentine's day (I don't think you should be expecting jewelry).

Too bad if they got furious!
Reply:I think its the thought put behind a thought more than any material object. I mean if you took me to watch a sunset and planned it to the point of perfection I would choose that over a diamond ring any day of the week. What memories do you take with you when you die? The ring or the sunset..
Reply:I had a discussion with some women after last Valentine's Day, and we decided that it's a very bad night to go to a restaurant, and a very bad day to send someone flowers. The staff at restaurants and florist shops are overworked and stressed out. Those of us who went out found that the food and service were very disappointing and those of us who got flowers felt that the florists would have done a better job the week before or the week after Valentine's Day.

The best Valentine's Day I ever had was the one where my husband got home from work before I did, had the kids help him move the table to the living room in front of the fireplace, set the table for two with our good China and a bouquet of flowers from the supermarket, and made salad, lobster, and a chocolate dessert. The kids had pizza in the kitchen. It was great.

Note on buying jewelry for every little occasion. I read this in a dress for success book. Tell your husband not to get you inexpensive jewelry frequently. Tell him to get you small gifts like perfume or soap for most occasions, like Christmas and birthdays. He should save his money to get you a substantial piece of jewelry on your fifth anniversary, your tenth, etc. In the long run, you will be much happier with a few expensive pieces of jewelry than lots of inexpensive ones.
Reply:Yeah that's a very common problem. Personally although I wouldn't complain about the jewelry, I would be just as happy if me and my guy agreed not to celebrate Valentines day because it's such a sucky contrived load of horse poop. But, that's just my opinion! I heard from a reliable source that a more normal woman gets very irate when her man doesn't surprise her with something romantic for the day, take her out, give her a gift and a smarmy card, respond appropriately to lingerie etc. A guy needs to find out what his wife or girlfriend expects, and do that for her out of consideration for her feelings!
Reply:are you done "stroking" your ego now?

just curious

you did the right thing by buying your wife something nice, "of course."

no need to strut around like some, what are those male chickens called.....not hens, the other ones......I don't think I can write it on here.......they might take the word out of context.... anyway, let's not get so full of ourselves...keep buying your wife nice things and hopefully this year, her co-workers will receive something nice also............................
Reply:My husband and I have understanding that we only exchange gifts on birthdays and Christmas. Other holidays, we just exchange cards and try to do something fun together around that time. We're both big believers in "it's the thought that counts." It takes an effort to find a nice card. It takes too much effort to buy a gift that may not be wanted or needed. We'd rather spend time together and mark the occasion that way.
Reply:well in my opinion i would love anything a man gives me (but i am single right now) but when i had a boyfriend he gave me all he could and i loved him for it but well i think its lovely whatever you can afford.
Reply:Honestly, it is one of the more important personal days of the year, in any realationship; for both genders. Some people don't give their spouses (or do, or spend time with..etc), friends or significant others anything...its a big mistake. Some people don't really care. But, the way I look at it, if your significant other didn't care about thinking of the one that they 'love'...at least one day of the year...even if it is with a card or doing something thoughtful, wouldn't you wonder if they cared about you or your relationship, especially if you possibly did something? Always charish your loved one.

Valentine's day - gifts for the girlfriend?

This is our first Valentine's Day together and I was wondering what girls expect or want on Valentine's day. I should probably add, my girlfriend is not a low maintenance girl, by any means so I dont know if flowers and chocolate would cut it, and she works at a spa, so I dont know if doing something along those lines would be very good either.

Valentine's day - gifts for the girlfriend?
If she is "high maintenance" then you know what you gotta do! A dozen perfect red roses sent to the spa. And you later, at her door, with a piece of jewelry and some Godiva chocolates. This is the time of year when most guys wish they had low maintenance girlfriends!
Reply:do something from your heart,no matter how expensive she is chocolate and flowers will melt her heart.or take her on a surprise trip to somewhere romantic or fun.

For the girl who has everything, this will blow her away. Ask for Courtney or Allison if you order. They'll give you a good deal!
Reply:Use your brain, create something from the brain/heart, that will touch her heart. Do whatever you do well, and make it all about her, chicks eat that stuff up
Reply:all girls would want a ring, but if your not at that point in the relationship .. i'd go with something she can wear and remember everyday.. like a necklace, bracelet, earrings.. however never buy a girl a friendship ring that just shows your not ready for the big jump.
Reply:Get her a big teddy bear..

Thats sweet and some Candy. and a card.
Reply:What better gift to offer your friend than a “living” portrait of your love and care for her.

Reply:not customery by my standards!

i go for the each YEAR anniversary only.

i used to date a guy who gave me something every month... i thought that was odd and never gave him anything other then v-day, b-days, easter etc.

if you like the bi-yearly pressies, tell her so.

she is VERY UNLIKELY to have predicted that 6mths in was a present sharing time. so please don't be hurt. she likely had no idea you were going to give her something.

back when i was in school, 6mths was a bit of big deal, and i used to celebrate the idea with a romantic date or something, but not gifts.

xx
Reply:some girls do, dont be concerned, not all girls are the same, just wait and see till you 1 year anniversary, she may have thought she has given u the best present which is her dont u think???

and if she feels the same about you then really you have nothing to worry about

Valentine Day gifts for guys?

Any ideas? Sending flowers to his job - Is that coreny? What could i send to him and surprise him with?

Valentine Day gifts for guys?
It isn't corny at all to send flowers to a guy. My husband is a very Manly Man and the Union Steward for his company. He loves it when I send him things. But if you don't want to do the flowers. Send him a bouquet of "cookies by design". They have all kinds of things. You could then enjoy "eating" them "together". That way it's not like flowers that will just eventually die. He'll love them. You can check them out on-line. Believe me they aren't just nice looking, the cookie is really good !

Reply:If you send him flowers at work he's going to get a lot of slack from the other guys. Don't emasculate him in that way. If you want to give him flowers,do it in a private way so his manhood isn't challenged.
Reply:yes it is a little odd to do that, but you could always do tons of m%26amp;m's...

Valentine's gifts?

My mom and step-dad were divorced not so long ago. Valentine's is pretty hard on her. Last year I sent her some flowers but this year I wanted to send her something kinda funny. To kind of make fun of the day! Anyone know any good websites you can have things delivered?

Valentine's gifts?
Goodness. I just saw one and now I can't remember. Go to gifts.com, and search. Also do a yahoo search. I think the site was something like: funny bitter gifts for her. Yeah. got it. Go here: http://www.findgift.com/Holidays/Valenti...

Valentines day gifts?

im sure your all pretty sick of these questions but ive looked the ones already asked and didnt see any choices that could really apply to me (being 17 and in hs im not spending much) or any that really stood out, flowers candy necklaces i coulda thought of that. so what are some unique ideas for valentines day, keep in mind i've only been with her for 7 months and im not looking to spend more than like $75, sorry girls reading this, im not cheap but i dont really care what you think anyways so yeah, thanks for the help =)

Valentines day gifts?
Regardless as to what you get her, make sure it is not too big or expensive. The reason being (and please keep this bit of advise about women in the forefront of your mind from now until the day you die) once you go out of your way to do something for a woman, no matter how special or outrageously expensive, YOU WILL NEVER BE ABLE TO BACKTRACK AND DO ANYTHING LESS. The magnificent idea of this year will be the plain old status quo, of the next.

Answer this, is her birthday, or Christmas more important to her? If so, she is going to remember what she got for VD and use that as the gauge of the level for what she should CONTINUE to get from you when gifts are given.

This is why a lot of women begin to complain about how their "significant other" USE TO do special things for them, but doesn't seem to do as much now. From our side of the issue (MALE) we know that we had to go the extra mile to get them in the first place, and it is impossible to keep that pace up for the entire relationship, but they don't want to hear that.

So no matter what you decide, make sure to leave yourself some room to be able to top it next year, because if you are with her next year, I GUARANTEE, she will expect something better than what you did this year. And believe it or not, whether she tells you or not, she WILL be hurt if you don't live up to that unfair and unrealistic expectation, and she will hold it against you as an expression of you SHOWING her that she (or your relationship) is less important to you now versus what it used to be.

NEVER START SOMETHING IN A RELATIONSHIP THAT YOU DON'T INTENT TO CONTINUE, YOU WILL REGRET IT LATER---SPREAD THE WORD!!!

P.S.- This goes for everyday activity also, never take her places with you that you are not willing to take her everytime you go, especially when hang with your friends. If you start this activity, you will never see a moment of privacy again. Pace your relationship, or it will pace you, WOMEN DO IT ALL TIME.

Good Luck!!!
Reply:Oh the classics always work. Try a teddybear that's soft and INCREDIBLY cute, preferably holding a basket of chocolate or something. Or stud earrings (they're shiny, so they'll work), the most those'll cost you is 25 bucks. Plus, they're small and elegant. Maybe include a poem about love from a good poet, or a song.
Reply:This is a very cheap gift and quite cute. I use these as little gift/stocking stuffer ideas all the time. Maybe a few of these with a bottle of perfume.

Hope this helps.
Reply:Hmmm...let me put myself in the girl's shoes. Well, I wouldn't a like a teddy bear or anything of that sort that's expensive and I'll probably throw away...nice flowers, they don't have to be expensive but something nice, like 7 roses, one representing a month you've been together with some filling inside (baby's breath, smaller flowers that come in bunches), you MUST get her a card or make one but a card must be included, you can get her a movie she really really really really likes or something related to that movie (like if she likes let's say Star Wars, you can get her a shirt that says something related to star wars) or you can put the movie in a basket with bags of popcorn and candy so you guys can watch it together, DON'T FORGET THE CARD, no stuffed animals because most people trash those! Or like someone else said a gift certificate for a nail salon is nice, DON'T FORGET THE CARD! In the end, something simple that shows her you know her by doing something personal...good luck and happy valentine's day!
Reply:well its the thought that counts, you mentioned you've been together for 7 months, then you should give her something that has sentimental meaning, recreate your first date, or maybe if she mentioned that she always wanted to do something but never had the chance to do it try to make it happen, like if she said she always wanted to learn swing dancing, take a class together...you have to look for something that would move her, it doesnt have to be expensive.

good luck
Reply:well i have only been with my boyfriend for three months and i am pretty sure he got me a gorgeous necklace i have been wanting since christmas. but if jewelry isnt wut ur looking for y dont u do something romantic. pack a picnic take her to the beach and watch the sunset with her. maybe throw in a few roses. im sure that she will LOVE this... hope this helps :]

I am goin to get her a card and a lil teddy bear that says I Love You but what else would be special? Here are some ideas. But i need help pickin some. i dont wna go over like 200 so any good ideas would be nice.

-Flowers-What kind? how many?

-Jelwery- Bracelet, Necklace, Ring? (any ideas on what kind gold/white gold heart charm?)

-Hand bags? Coach? ( can u name some that are nice?)

ANY THIGN ELSE!?

--Also she works at night and i cant take her to dinner so would it be sweet to surprise her at work with the flowers and the present?!

I really wna make this special so can every girl give me her thoughts or other ideas?

HELP GIRLS!! I need help with Valentines gifts?
any girls favorite on valentines day is a dozen red roses, and maybe a heart bracelet with like x's and o's or something like that....umm maybe like some lip gloss def. white gold....see if you could get into her apartment or house and lay rose pedals by her bed saying i love you and then put the card on the nightstand and give her clues of where to find her gifts....like go down the hall and down the stairs or something like that and have your gift put together in like a cute red handbag with the roses sticking out and the bracelet/necklace hanging from the wrapping of the roses and then like little stuff surrounding it like lip gloss, nail polish, and your teddy bears in front of it ...its very nice and i think she would love it
Reply:Flowers and chocolates are always good fallbacks, but the most romantic presents are the ones that you put a lot of thought into.

If you play an intrument, it would be a really sweet thing to put together a CD of songs you made just for her. If you're an artist, you could paint a picture of both of you together. If you can bake, create her a tantalizingly delicious cake. These are all, of course, suggestions.

It's really the thought that counts, so whatever you do, make sure it's clear that you're thinking about her.

About the suprising her thing - you might want to consider what kind of girl she is. Sure, most girls would love to have her true love pop in and present her offerings of faithful devotion, but not all.

A good rule is that, if she's introduced you to her friends or co-workers, she'd like it if you surprised her at work. If not, it might be better to take her out to a nice brunch/lunch, and do most of your celebrating earlier on in the day.
Reply:a dozen roses. send them to her work. or a dozen of her favorite roses. or.! send her 24 roses.! and on the card write something like; for every hour of the day i think about you.! aw; that'd be totally cute.

no ring unless you plan on marrying her some time in the future. i'd go for necklace. i'd always prefer necklace over bracelet. tiffany's cute[;

Unique Birthday gifts for my girlfriend?

I've been dating this girl for almost 3 yrs. I've bought things from photo albums to jewelry box to clothing to jewelry, flowers, and stuffed animals. This year for her 15th birthday i want to buy her something different then anything i have bought her yet. I don't want to get her candy because she really doesn't like it too much. I have already got her a couple shirts for her birthday but i wasn't something else that was different then anything I've gotten her before. Something that she would never ever think of but i want it to be sweet not tacky. Also i was wondering some ideas that i could do for her that day to make her birthday the most special day of the year. Thanks

Unique Birthday gifts for my girlfriend?
Pamper her by paying for her to get her nails done, massage, and stuff. Figure what you want to spend and see what they will do for that amount.
Reply:get your pictures taken together...make sure to check out the price first because it can get pricey...walmart will charge about $6 if you only buy the first pose...you can also get 15? cards for an extra $10.

or take her to the beach and bring a picnic that you packed.

Or bring her to bath and body works and let her pick a few things out.

or give her "love coupons" - make them yourself....just strips of constuction paper that are decorated and say thing like "good for one walk in the park"

"good for 1 kiss" etc.
Reply:If you need a different birthday gift idea, these personalized soaps from soapcard.com might do the trick. They make romantic heart shaped soaps with your photo and personalized message embedded inside. I got one for my boyfriend and he loved it. You can write all kinds of funny stuff. My boyfriend thought it was super cute, .the "Think of me when you're feeling dirty" soap was the one he loved the most.
Reply:I have the perfect romantic gift for you: http://lovesagame.com/name-a-star-the-ul...
Reply:If she likes flowers or orchids, you can consider embedding her photo or name in acrylic together with a flower as a present for her. This can be bought online at the website mentioned below.
Reply:get her a ring........
Reply:do something thats personal to the 2 of you.

a really good bet is a picture in a nice frame. my gf gave me one of a trip we had to the beach once. its the best present i ever got from her.

and you can do it for really cheap.

buy her the usual girly items like smelly things and flowers as well of course.

other things you could do are put together a scrap book of memories and such like over the past few years

also write her a letter rather than a card telling her how much she means to you.

my gf did this to me and it was so nice.
Reply:Think about what she really likes. Pay attention when you go out to the movies, or on a date. Listen to her and she will mention something that she really likes.

If you don't come up with anything take her on a day long excursion. Set up a crazy scavenger hunt that ends at a park where you are waiting with a candle light picnic. Along the way leave little gifts with her clues. Its exciting and it takes a lot of thought and effort. Any girl would love it!
Reply:Maybe you can do a collague of pictures of your relationship. You know, places you've been to, random pictures you've taken, ticket stubs, etc. Something that will really show her how much you love her and are enjoying the relationship. Or you could take her to a spa and get her pampered. You know, get her a manicure and pedicure, a nice massage, facial, etc. Girls really enjoy that type of stuff.

Good Luck! =)

Valentines Day Gifts....IMPORTANT?

valentines day is coming up...duh...and my boyfriend and I will have been together for three weeks on that day. So, I've never been with a guy around an important romantical holiday....and on that note, I've only ever had two boyfriends....so this whole preasent buying thing is new to me.... I know he doesnt like chocolate....and he is 16 like me...so no sexy stuff like my best friend said ;p

and, I think he has something...I dont know...big planned because he was talking to me and randomly asked me a question about flowers....so I dont know whats going on, but I want to get him something sorta unique maybe.

he is a sk8tr/ stoner type guy.....who doesnt like chocolate...hmm....Im sorta lost...ugh....so please, anything helps. And, even though I know somebody will do it, dont say "Your to young to worry about it" or "you shouldnt be in a serious relationship" because its to late for u to even waste yr typing. But you could be helpful and list some of your past V-day experiences!?

Valentines Day Gifts....IMPORTANT?
me and my boyfriend have been dating for about 2 weeks and im not quite sure what to get him either, but well im younger im 14 so its a bit different. but maybe some other vday candy would be good, nothing tooo huge because most guys arent all mushy gushy- espically the skater type ( not to steriotype) Well I dont think im much help here but just play it cool.
Reply:You should try to get something that he doesn't have and likes very much. Try to ask some of his friends if they happen to know!!! I think you should probably get a watch, an ipod,

Personalized Initial Necklaces or something like tht!! Hope tht helped!! Well, good luck !!
Reply:Hey I'm 16 too, I think you should get him a cup cake or a cookie, with a sweet card, that's what I'm gonna get my friends.
Reply:Valentine's Day is just a useless holiday set up by the chocolate and gift card companies, so don't even bother celebrating it.

help me out here please?

Mothers day gifts?
Well my girlfriend loves flowers and other things that have like a scent. This year I leaned toward the traditional flowers but with an added twist... I will lay pedals down all the way to the bedroom, I will have strategically placed a card with an invitation to a restaraunt and movie tickets, just to make it a nice evening.

Who does't like Valentine's Day Gifts?

I had flowers delivered to my wifes work. I bought (4) cards to give my wife. (1) from our (3) kids and (3) from me. She leaves for work @ 4am so I placed one by her purse after she went to sleep so she would get it in the morning. I placed a card that plays music in her car so she would see it on the way to work. She called me a few time during the day and treated me like a jerk on the phone even though I did not do anything to her. The last phone she bitched at me for buying her flowers. At this point I hung up on her. The kids gave her their card after I got home from work. And I was no longer in the romantic Valentines Day mode to give her the third. I also made a slide show of pictures of us together over the years accompanied by our wedding song. I received thanks for the first card and that was it. I did not realize my wife had become such a heartless *****!

Who does't like Valentine's Day Gifts?
my guess is that she's angry about something else and taking it out on you. Ask her what's wrong. Let her know your feelings were hurt but AFTER you find out what's eating her.
Reply:even if she had a bad day she should have been thoughtful
Reply:Poor guy!

I feel bad for you....

I know I would be happy to get flowers. My ex was about the most selfish, unromantic guy on earth, I never got diddly-squat for Valentine's. You sound like a sweetie, maybe she'll realize that before her attitude drives you away completely.
Reply:It really does sound like there might be something else wrong here, is she stressed? You say she leaves for work at 4.00 am so perhaps she is worn out or simply feels that you guys don't have enough time together.....anyway obviously this is all just guess work, can you try and talk to her calmly about this....remember calmly though, no shouting or making her feel bad, I know this must have hurt after all the effort but she won't talk if you make her feel guilty !! Good Luck
Reply:Usually when a person blows up over something that isn't really rational then they are stressed and still upset about something else that remains unresolved and is causing them duress. Are you having financial issues? Maybe she thought it was a waste of money. Really do some searching and thinking to try and determine what she was actually angry over. No matter the reason for her blow up, she should have handled it differently. Maybe you can tell her how much it upset you. I hope that you all can figure out a way to talk nicely to each other. It's important not only for the health of your relationship, but also for your children's health. They deserve to see a more loving example. Good luck, I hope she works things out nicely.
Reply:Wow ... that is really sweet of you. I can understand why you would not be in the Valentines day mode any longer after her being that way. Sorry to hear that you VD didn't go so well. You never said but did you give her the video? That would have made my heart fill with joy if my husband had done that for me, not complaining my husband gave me a day to mysfl coupon and flowers, and beautiful card with loving words that he wrote himself. He made me amazingly happy and I gave him "you know what" *wink-wink* which he was way happy with. Hope today is better for you. Good luck.
Reply:Awww, that sucks. I would have never done you like. Just the fact you took the time to buy that stuff and put together that slide show for her is sweet. She is ungrateful. I hope your wife doesn't always act like...if so, thats sad.
Reply:You made a slide show of pictures along with your wedding song??

OMG
Reply:You should talk to her about it. Sounds like it's something else that's bothering her. I loved everyone of my presents and the flowers he sent me where my favorite cause they were pink and the card blew me away...I cried.
Reply:Now, this take may have nothing to do with your case. That said, here goes:

Sounds like your wife reacted the way a woman reacts to a man who sees v-day as one day of atonement for 364 of neglect. Especially if money is tight.

Are you doing your share of housework and childcare? Do you put the toilet seat down? Treat her with respect? Satisfy her physical needs even when you're not in a romantic mood?

If everything truly is in order, then she's stressed about something big and if you're a loving husband you'll try to give her the safe space she needs to open up about it.
Reply:WOW... I would have been amazed at the one card.... let alone three AND flowers?! She needs a wake up call.... My husband didn't get me anything, but there isn't a complaint there... I came home to a clean house, rearranged office and living room and he got off the computer, enjoyed a movie with me after the kids went to bed and then well... the rest was our marital fun....

All I can say is SHE NEEDS A WAKE UP CALL. Most guys don't do squat... And she got all that?! Sounds to me like next year, I would just tell her Happy Valentine's Day... and leave it at that... She sounds very ungrateful for what should have been a wonderful day.

He loves football and hes a really big sweetie (lol if he ever sees this im so dead!!! but really he is) and he loves me to death. what am i suppossed to get him? I mean i dont want to do the candy/card/cd mix/teddy bear thing again (thats what he got last year, unsigned from me!) i want to get something thoughtful but i dont know what!

Ummm valentines gifts for BF?
Go for something that interests him. Something related to his hobbies or something. Guys always like that.
Reply:I think you should give him a special locket of yours or something. Inside the locket put a picture of you and him. He'll be pretty embarrased about it, but he'll love it. But if you ever break up, you got problems.
Reply:golfballs
Reply:a B.J.
Reply:Get him a robe for him to lounge around in- with the colors/ theme of his favorite team! If you look online, his favorite team probably has a robe like this you can buy from their website.
Reply:Depends on how creative you are, but take the pictures throughout your year relationship and make a freaking sweet book out of them.. your first places, amazing times, weekends, days, put in things from your guys's favorite foods, ticket stubs, movie stubs, favorite candy, put backrounds of different colors, or torn out pages of magizines..be creative..he won't know what to say..but that he loves you.

actually, make it a v-day/ one year ann. gift..that way you have time to work on it..and you get him excited about waiting for something that he knows is going to be special..plus..

knocks down two gifts ideas to one.

sweet right?

have fun.

Funeral Condolence Gifts?

So my friends grandma passed away on the same day that her great grandmother (her grandmothers mother was being buried) So what do i get her a sympathy card and what else i want to her get flowers but i dont know which one

Please Help

Thanks

Funeral Condolence Gifts?
get her some flowers dont buy roses though just find some pretty ones that catch you eyes, yeah sure she prolly is getting alot but they work wonders and a card sounds nice too ...maybe a hug and just letting them know that if they need anything that you are there for them ...i think thats the best ^^
Reply:a card offering your condolences %26amp; either a homemade meal that can easily be frozen or a flower arrangement would be good.

If you go with the meal, lasagna, chicken salad, and pies are good.

If you go with flowers just tell the florist you go with that it is for a funerla and she will pick out appropriate flowers.
Reply:While getting her flowers is a sweet gesture, she will likely be getting a lot right now and they can be alot to care for. What I did when my friend's mother passed was make a charitable donation in her mother's name. She had died from diabetes so I donated to diabetes research.

Maybe do something like that - especially if there is a charity the family regularly supports andhave them send her a card saying the donation was made in memory of her family members.

I"m sure she will appreciate whatever you do and having your support during this time.
Reply:Call a florist %26amp; have something sent to the Funeral home. Tell them your budget %26amp; what you want the flower card to read as. They will work w/ you.
