Six month dating gifts for a boyfriend?

my girlfriend and i just had our six month dating anniversery and i got her flowers and a neckless. she didnt get me anything and didnt even remeber what the day was, ive never missed a month.


i sorta feel used even though she is the most amazing girl ever and i know she feels the same about me.


should i be concerned?


why didnt she remember or get me a present?


is it customery for a girl to get a guy a present for a six month?

There is no such thing as a 6 month anniversary. Anniversaries can only be annual hence YEARLY or once a year. You celebrate each and every month like it's Valentines Day????? I think SHE is the one to be concerned you need to tone it down several notches in the desperation category or you will run her out of your life quick. It's nice to occasionally buy something simple like flowers just to be nice but jewelry is for special occasions like Christmas your wedding anniversary. 6 Months is nothing in the big scheme of things. Wait until you have been with her 20 years and you will look back and laugh at your over enthusiasm that's IF she didn't run away 20 years before. plus think about all the money you will save buy not buying presents every month.

i go for the each YEAR anniversary only.





i used to date a guy who gave me something every month... i thought that was odd and never gave him anything other then v-day, b-days, easter etc.





if you like the bi-yearly pressies, tell her so.


she is VERY UNLIKELY to have predicted that 6mths in was a present sharing time. so please don't be hurt. she likely had no idea you were going to give her something.





back when i was in school, 6mths was a bit of big deal, and i used to celebrate the idea with a romantic date or something, but not gifts.
