Appropriate Gifts From BF (Cont'd)?

I came across this post from a couple of months ago and wanted to add my comments and get some new ones on it as well.





Ive been dating my BF for just under 2 years and he is not much of a gift giver. For my Bday last year he took me to Dave and Busters and got me a Tshirt from Walgreens. This year he got me a cap, picture frames and some twine (this was kind of a joke because I really like twine, its an underrated household item). Apart from that, he has never really gotten me anything else. Maybe a flower on two or three occassions (VDAY).





I know hes not that good with gifts and he doesnt have that much money cause he just started his job recently (though his job pays well now) but is it too much to ask for to get a real gift (something more than twine)? I told him this and he thinks I am just being silly. Am I really being silly or shallow?

huh? im confused!!
Reply:you are not shallow....it%26#039;s the thoughts that count, but i don%26#039;t see much thoughts going into a piece of twine......if he knows you well enough, he should know exactly what you want or need.....talk to him more....like when you guys go out..... say....wow, that%26#039;s a nice piece of **** that will go well with my *****....that should do it.....
