Bridal Party Gifts?

i was just wondering what is the typical amount a Bride should spend on gifts for her bridal party? what about the Groom how much should he spend?

What are typical gifts for Bridesmaids and Groomsmen? how much?

Do you do something different for Maid of Honor and Best man? how much?

What about Flower Girl? Jr. Bridemaids?? how much?

What about Ringbearer and Jr. Grromsmen??? how much?

I was thinking $75 per but did the math and thats going to cost us about $1400. Am i being cheap? with thinking about only spending $20 per?

Bridal Party Gifts?
The point of the gift is not to match the cost of what they paid for being in your wedding, the point is to thank them for being in your wedding. Buy what you can afford and what you think they will like. I spent $35 on my bridesmaids and my husband spent $20 on his groomsmen.
Reply:$20 is a great starting point when looking for jaw dropping bridesmaid or groomsmen gift. I would recommend you stick to your budget and be diligent you will find something they will love.
Reply:For groomsmen, a pocketwatch, wristwatch, or cuff links.

For bridesmaids, jewelry. They could all wear it on the wedding day so theyre matching. Find something that goes well with the dresses: earrings, bracelet, necklace.

These are pretty expensive, look for sales.
Reply:for the groomsman and best man we got them a beer mug in glass with Best Man or Groomsmen written on it, with their names... it cost us less then 20$ each...

for the maid of honor and bridesmaid we got them a little tote bag with little gifts inside and a silver necklace for the both of them... totes cost us about 15$ each with the gifts in them and the necklace it cost us about 10-20$ for each..

check out ebay... thats where we got our gifts and they have alot of stuff there... things you can get personalized like the mugs and totes...

good luck
Reply:you can get lots of really nice things for between $20-$30

Try looking online there are lots of gifts you can give your bridal party and sometimes the more you buy the more you save.

When I was the maid of honour for my cousin she brought me fabric from Africa. It was really different from other things people might give and I loved it.
Reply:i would keep in mind what they are spending on your night... are they paying for their own dresses, hair, shoes, accessories, etc.?? typically that right there can add up to 300-400$, on top of that they typically throw your shower (i%26#039;ve heard that can be up to 100$ a bridesmaid), they are still going to get you a wedding gift, probably a shower gift, and pay for themselves and you on your bachelorette party night..... and if they have to travel/get hotels for your wedding add that in.... a bridesmaid paying for all that can spend 500-1000 just for you to have your night....

of course if your paying for some of the above, then i would say it%26#039;s okay to go with a little less on a gift... if you are spending less though make sure to get something personal... so that they don%26#039;t end up feeling like they did all this for you and got a keychain in return (obviously, your not getting a keychain, just making a point). you can get a lot of personal things for not a lot of money. or do something together like take them out somewhere.
Reply:For the bridemaids/Jr. bridesmaids I would say jewlery to wear in the wedding... It doesn%26#039;t have to real or expensive.... You can get some nice sets for around $20 per person.

Check online under bridal jewlery

For the men maybe a money clip or cuff links... Or a mens grooming kit...
Reply:I think it really just depends on the budget of the bride and groom. I wouldn%26#039;t intentionally look cheap though, because they are doing you favor by being in your wedding.
Reply:It%26#039;s the thought that counts. If you have some spare time, maybe make the bridal party gifts for the females (jewelry, etc.) The Maid of Honor%26#039;s gift should be a little more special than all of the other gifts. The Flower Girl, etc. should get a nice little gift that is fairly close to the Bridesmaids%26#039; gifts, but not more expensive. Homemade is the way to go!
Reply:The day of the wedding my sister took all of her bridesmaid to a spa they had a package for a bridal party we got manicures pedicures facials and massages as well as our hair and makeup done....it actually worked out because we would have needed have that done anyway.
