Why do guys ask women for gifts...what happened to the old system where they bought us stuff to "woo" us????

I had a guy ask me for something that cost like $35 but told me I "didn't need" a $2 rose! I happen to LOVE flowers!

things are more of a balanced scale now or getting there. like a women being the bread winner, %26amp; the man being a house dad. things have changed.





if he is asking for a gift, u may ask for one in return, he is clearly trying to tell u that its no one way street, its a two way. so if he may ask u, u may ask him
Reply:The gift I gave to my woman was a video I taped of her making love with my best friend. It was a great gift for her. Poor thing. I wonder where she is now.

Reply:Wow! What kind of a guy is he? Anyways, I think that it depends upon a person's personality. I don't mind giving gifts to my significant other but only when there is an occassion or when I feel like it. I can't remember him asking for something in particular. And I think that it should also be a give and take set-up or else, one of you will get tired of the situation.
