What are some great gifts for Valentine's Day other than roses and chocolate?

Not all girls are satisfied with flowers and chocolates on Valentine's Day. What are some more creative ideas to make her feel special?

What are some great gifts for Valentine's Day other than roses and chocolate?
Best one I ever did, went to her work (boss already knew) around lunch with her overnight bag. Put her in the car, drove to a cabin on then sunshine hinterland. She had a 3 hour day spa pamper pack ( I joined in) and candle light dinner on the lake all by ourselves.

She still talks about it and that was 6 years ago.
Reply:I bought my wife a 9mm pistol and she said that's just what she wanted.
Reply:get her a "bullet" she'll thank you for it
Reply:I was fortunate in my past life to having known a poet and the poetry that he wrote for me was to die for. I have kept it and occasionally reread and relive the feelings and the loving ---- I think that a special poem on Valentine's day would be the answer and would be loved and treasured for a life time.....
Reply:Your Time. What could be more personal than giving of yourself? Look for a need in her life and meet it.
Reply:1. A romantic walk along the beach at sunset would satisfy me if it ended with a bottle of my favourite wine.

or

2. A bottle of my favourite perfume or a CD of my favourite artist.
Reply:Just a word of advice if you buy her jewellery. MAKE SURE YOU KNOW HER TASTE!!!!!!!! My bestfreind hates yellow gold, she has only ever worn white gold and her husband bought her a yellow gold engagement ring... of course she never said anything to him and loves the ring for what it represents...... but there is nothing worse than being secretly disappointed with a gift!!!! Look in her jewellery box and get an idea or take a couple of peices in to the shop with you and let the girls there to help make the choice!!! Last year my fiance treated us both to a day spa and I'm telling you that it was just the most perfect day as I could relax clear my head and spend the day with him and not worry about anything!!! I know alot of ppl have suggested similar things but the day spa is a winner trust me she'll love you for it but just make sure your there to enjoy it with her as valentines day is nothing if not spent with the one you love!!! Just book it soon or most spas will be full!
Reply:Well. Valentines day's bout expressing your love to someone, its just all these marketting companies that have made it a commercial affair. I guess people simply dont understand the real meaning of anything related to love, we can use the word LOVE for nearly everything, i love this hair brush, and i love that brand and i love those shoes! Love is the highest human emotion, and we should respect it for its real value. Love is for the man or the woman without whom you cant breathe, thats Love and I Love you should be for that person, not for your favorite celebrity! i think we seriously need to grow up. Flowers and chocolate cant always show a woman how much you love her. Anything to do with being with the woman helps. A nice long kiss and spending some quality time with the woman who you love and taking her somwhere like a nice fine dinner, a house boat or maybe your own bedroom bed could do the trick! After all its all about loving.... all the best.-anisha
Reply:a walk along the beach, holding hands followed with a passionate kiss
Reply:Oils... for massages...

Jewellery is always a winner but thats not a hard thing to figure out...

Day Spa's...

Romantic picnic on the beach or similar setting.

Poetry...

A Flag... personally printed on with sweet nothings... You can alter this idea in so many ways but it does involve a lil organisational skills...lol,planning etc... You can do a flag, a canvas printed with 100 reasons why I Love you. anything along those lines...
Reply:I have been married for 21 years. The best gift I think my husband could give to me is a day in bed and a hand written love letter confessing his love %26amp; desire for me.
Reply:Make up a coupon book for things like back massages, foot massages, hair brushing, etc for her to use anytime she wants by presenting the coupon to you.

Set up a romantic evening where you make her a candle light dinner followed by a romantic bath together by candlelight with either scented bath salts or bubblebath and take her to the bedroom where the bed is covered with rose petals and the only light is the flickering of candles for romantic lovemaking.
Reply:A new bathrobe
Reply:I don't need either just a kiss and a cuddle and my husband telling me he loves me is more than enough
Reply:Cook dinner for her, much nicer than being taken to a restaurant because YOU made it yourself. Certificate for a Day Spa treatment, jewellry, something handmade/homemade. Red Letter Day outings (go to site and check them out).
Reply:make her a cubby play house for that escape from the house
Reply:No one needs chocolates or roses. Give a donation in their name towards saving a pet animal , dog or cat or an endangered species or better still the environment.
Reply:Forget the Chocolate because women nowadays are very stressed with their weight. Roses? Let's be honest, men only give us roses when they did something very very bad or only in the beggining of the relationship when they wanna impress us. If you really would like to do something special to her, begin paying atention at her. Not in her *** or breasts, but really in her. In what she says, talks, likes, read, listen, eat. So let's think with me. Can a man that knows so much his wife, girlfriend to err at time to give her a gift? I think that no. And even if you are not with money to give her a big gift that she would like to receive, you can give her something that she will never forget: all the love you have. Give her a surprise, make a dinner to her, go away with her to see the moon and the stars in the sky, or who knows a new honeymoon? Kiss and huges and Good luck with her. Kiss.
Reply:sumpin special that comes from the heart, like maybe a song

I used to hand made something for birthday , X'mas ......or on special day for special one.
Reply:something that she can have for ever, like perhaps jewellery, with her birth stone.
Reply:Women with small kids often find it hard to get time for themselves. So, while it may not seem "traditionally" romantic, the most lovely gesture I've heard of was a husband who booked some time at the hairdresser for his wife, and encouraged her to after that go out clothes shopping, while he spent all day alone with the kids. Its so very hard to try on new clothes with a crying baby in tow, or giggling toddler running around!

Similarly, a gift certificate for a massage or facial is appreciated, again with the partner taking over kid-watching and house-cleaning chores for the day.

Some housewives are brought to happy tears just to have their husband wash the dishes and wipe down the kitchen counters, or doing a couple of loads of clothes in the washer. Why not volunteer to cheerfully do any and all housework and garden tasks requested, for a full day? I've heard a number of mums on parenting forums say something along the lines of "Nothing turns me on more than my man doing the dishes!" LOL!

Reply:I would love for my husband to call out "Honey, can you come here" and as i walk to where he is calling me from i begin to smell the scent of my favourite candles, as I step into the bathroom he has drawn a nice warm bath for me with the candles lite, soft music playing and a bottle of bubbly on ice, and the book I have been trying to read. He kisses me on the forehead(my favourite place for a gentle kiss) He tells me to enjoy my time. and as he leaves the room I hear him threaten the Kids "you better not disturb you Mother, and they don't. Wow to have this come true.... LOL Romance is in giving what she or he won't give themselves. That's just my opinion.

  1. Although kids will neither be sexy nor steaming hot like adults when wearing something red, this will however bring out their superb cuteness. With the elegant design and softness for extra protection for your child’s feet, you will never worry for them getting callus or getting hurt. Valentine Baby Canvas Shoes is capable of adjusting to their growing feet. With a size from J2 to J5, you can have your beautiful daughter wear the shoes up to 18 months. Added to its feature, are its Velcro closures. They make wearing of the shoes comfortable and convenient to the parents for they can now rest from the hassle of constantly tying their child’s shoelaces.
