I need help with gifts?

it's almost my best friend's birthday. what is something cute that i can get her? any ideas will be fine.


and please don't ask what she likes. anything you suggest may possibly give me ideas. i was thinking maybe a bouquet of flowers and a cute card, but maybe more. i really love this girl. hence, she is my best friend. and i want to make her happy. what do u suggest??

Just something she enjoys. If she likes museums, take her to one she has wanted to go but hasn't. Or if she likes a particular artist, find out if there are any exhibits of that artist. Take her to her favorite restaurant and then to her favorite dessert place. Take her to a concert. Are there any books, cds or dvds she's been talking about getting but hasn't yet? Is there anything she's been going on about that she wants but hasn't bought yet? Maybe a book on her favorite place on the planet or a topic or person she loves. Has she always wanted to do something like skydive or bungee jump or rock climb? You could do that if you can find somewhere near you. Has she been stressed lately? Give her a gift certificate to a spa for a massage or something. Do you have a revival movie theatre? You could see if it's showing something she would like.





It can be anything as simple as a picnic in the park to something elaborate like constructing her favorite country out of cardboard and putting it up in her backyard. I don't think it'll matter as long as it's something she enjoys, and it comes from the heart.

I had another idea. Do you draw, paint, sculpt, write, take photos? A friend in high school drew me a picture for a birthday, and it was great. It was just on simple oaktag in pencil, so it doesn't even have to be elaborate to be great. I still have it all these years later.

Reply:You were right on with the flowers and card. Don`t go overboard, and start an expensive present war, cause then she`ll feel obligated to do the same for you, and there it starts.

get tickets to see a show or movie..buy a rental gift certificate from the video store..buy popcorn and get the good stuff llike Carmel corn, salt and vinegar type....pick up some cool candy .like ike and mikes. goobers..whoppers-- some crazy candy like that. You could add some cozy slippers and or fun Pyjama's ..and lastly you could get her some good DVDs for her collection--- now just add to the basket..





I think you maybe pretty safe here...and most importantly the idea here is that she spends the time using the basket with you....
Reply:Something sentimental. Maybe a picture frame with a great picture of you two. Or they also have things like jewelry, frames, and other items that you can have personalized. I think any girl would like that. I don't know where you live or if they have these there but we have a store called Things Remembered that does all kinds of personalization. hope that helps

Reply:Buy a nice sized wicker basket and fill it with scented candles, bubble bath, scented soaps, lotions, a new cute pair of jammies, and a bottle of wine. Then when she is relaxing in her hot bubble bath sipping her wine she will think of YOU who gave her such an awesome gift of relaxation! Maybe if u r lucky she will invite u for the bubble bath! I got this one year and it was the most awesome and thoughtful gift I had ever gotten! Dont get one that is pre made- make it yourself! Good luck to u
