Reply:There is not "best gift" IMO. It depends on the girl and what she likes. But all those you mentioned are general gifts really, try to find out her intrests and get a gift related to that

Reply:well, it depends on the girl. personally, i would just be happy with a gift card to Dick's sporting goods, but thats unusual. so i'll be stereotypical:


1) jewelry...the real thing too (like gold and sterling silver)...none of that crappy fake stuff


2) something unique...such as a card that says you will take her somewhere (like a special day out with her)...and you should treat


3) flowers with a little note...its always cute to show her you care so send her some nice flowers with a nice handwritten poem or card.

Reply:Flowers, perfume and a sweet card are always good, but if you're like me, I like something that my boyfriend thinks I would like. If there is something she really likes (a band /tickets or a cd, store/gift card, just something goofy) thats always fun to get too.

You can never go wrong with giving jewelry unless it is pre-owned.


Don't buy her dresses, shoes, or any type of clothing because you don't know what fits her and she will be insulted if you get the wrong size. Perfume is something she can get from a girlfriend. The other stuff has no thought put into it.


If you want to be adventurous get her a collectible she is really into, but I am a girl and I highly recommend jewelry.

Reply:Very good question - women take gift giving 1,000 times more seriously than men do, so a well planned gift can totally sweep your girlfriend off her feet - and a badly thought out gift can totally backfire and make your girl want to dump you. Be forewarned!





But here are some good suggestions:





1) something personal (for instance, if you know she likes to take pictures get her a camera, or if you know she's an aspiring singer, get her a book about the kind of music she likes ect)





2) Jewelry (but find out what kind of jewelry she likes - if you get her a gold necklace and she's a silver jewelry girl, it might not go over so well)





3) Chocolate - most women are addicted to chocolate, it's something they always like (unless your girlfriend has a medical issue that prevents her from eating chocolate)
